How do you work out the charges?
Charges start when the crew is dispatched from our warehouse at Dufferin
and Steeles, running till they return, after off-loading.
What is included in the hourly rate?
The crew will bring movers pads, dollies and floor runners with them
- all of that equipment is included in the truck rate.
Do you pro-rate the hours?
The last hour of the move is pro-rated (not rounded up) after the 4 hour
minimum.
How will you protect my furniture?
Your furniture will be blanket-wrapped with moving quilts/pads. Any white
or light-coloured upholstered furniture will be shrink-wrapped to
keep it from being soiled.
Will they disassemble and reassemble my bed or other furniture?
Yes - Your movers will reassemble any furniture they disassemble for you. The
final charges reflect the time you need the moving or packing service. Make sure
you make the arrangements in advance to ensure they have the proper tools.
When is the cheapest time to move?
After the beginning of the month, and before the end of the month - Monday
through Friday we offer
non-peak rates. Book early to ensure you get the best rates, and
the date you want.
Do you offer free boxes?
As a courtesy, on the day of your move your crew will bring 5 wardrobe cartons
(think of a portable closet about 5 ft tall, with a metal bar
inside)
They'll also bring 5 picture/mirror cartons for your use that day, to
transport any glass, pictures or mirrors.

us an email to request the list. We've got lots of tips and ideas to
make this move as stress-free and efficient as possible for you.
Do you deliver boxes and packing materials?
Yes - and we offer FREE DELIVERY within the GTA, for orders over $90 -
how's that for customer service....
How do I book?
A deposit is required to reserve your truck and crew. For your convenience we accept email transfers, Visa and MasterCard.
This amount is deducted from the balance due on completion of your move.
What about insurance?
You have two choices:
1) The basic released protection is
included. With that, a movers' liability is limited to 60 cents per pound.
You should check to see if you are covered under your homeowner's
policy.
2) Extended protection is available at
a cost of $5/$1000 valuation. With that in place, we will repair any
damage done to furniture or give you cash in lieu if it cannot be
repaired. A one time deductible of $100 applies in the event of a claim.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, we accept Visa and Mastercard for your convenience.
